Hi there, you wanna know what's the best place for Filipinos, to work and live. Top ten (10) most lists down the friendliest countries for Filipino's with the help of the show "Ang Pinaka" Top ten (10)  elaborates how it is  good for Filipino to live in these countries. So if you're planning to leave the country (as an OFW, Oversease Filipino Worker)  and can't decide yet, you got to read this first.

10. Spain- This is because Philippines was colony of Spain. Every June 30 we celebrate Philippine-Spanish Friendship day, this can be traced back to the siege of Baler where Spanish soldiers garrisoned for almost a year in a church in Aurora Baler for almost a year.  By June 30 the Spanish soldiers surrendered to Filipino troops and were given permission to go back to Spain. June 30 is a reminder of the act of benevolence  and an everlasting friendship of Spain and Philippines.

9.New Zealand- There are a lot of Filipinos in New Zealand, about 35,00 that's 1% of New Zeland's population. In fact Filipinos are so well taken care of in New Zealand, Filipino actually celebrate Philippines independence day in that country. Although it is tough getting in, you are more likely to get inside the country if you have a certain skill or profession like being a nurse, doctor, engineer or a seafarer (seaman). Although New Zealand's economy is not at best right now it is getting better and hopefully soon get's back to full recovery.

8.Austria- There are about 53 Filipino orgnization in Austria ready to give support to Filipinos in need. The majority of Filipinos in Austria are women, and are nurses mostly living in Vienna. The fact that there are only few Filipinos who know about Austria is an edge. Just to give you a heads up on how good it is in Austria, we took this quote from another site.
"The quality of life is generally very high in Austria. With a thriving economy, a stable political system, Austria's beautiful countryside (not only the Austrian Alps bewitch with their majestic beauty) and it's cultural diversity, all contribute to a high-quality lifestyle for locals and tourists alike.
Austria's capital Vienna ranks as one of the most attractive cities world wide. The subjective feeling of well-being attested to by locals and tourists alike has been repeatedly attested to by leading international studies and city rankings." -www.aboutautria.org

7.Germany- To give you a heads up, there are about 21,00,000 Filipinos living in Germany, mostly women about 84% as of 2011 and mostly acquire German citizenship through marriage. Filipinos fit in very well in Germany in general, the work of Filipinos in Germany come in all walks of life from a janitors to doctors. Germans also view Filipinos as peaceful, hardworking skilled and nice people. Anu pa hinihintay nyo mag Germany na!!!

6.Guam- It's just north of the Philippines, a small island with American currency, because its a US territory. It was a Spanish territory like the Philippines and just like the Philippines, it was discovered by Magellan. Then it was occupied by USA the same time Philippines became its colony, people from Guam however didn't strive to take independence. The history of the Philippines and Guam is virtually the same, and there very close to each other. Heck even the people look Filipino, Guamanians are friendly just like Filipinos,..you know what one small twik in history and Philippines and Guam could have been one country.

5.United Kingdom- There's about 112,000 Filipinos in UK, and a lot live above the minimum wage, only 12.8% are in the minimum wage., most Filipinos arrive as care givers or nurses. Although it's not the place to be right now because of their economy, Brits in general are friendly to Filipinos. In fact there is a "Barrio Fiesta sa London"in July its been running for 27 years now, its when all Filipinos gather and have fun for two days.

4.Japan- It is a great place to settle down, but we WARNED!! You must know how to speak English, a lot Japanese can't speak English, so being able to read and write Nihongo is a huge plus, it can make or break you in Japan. Also don't expect to work with the degree you finished in the Philippines, they think our education is not at par with their, and I would hate to admit it but I think they're right. But ones you are able to speak the language,..you won't have much of a problem. There are a lot of opportunities in Japan, if you're not picky, the other good thing about the Japanese is they don't discriminate in terms of work. If you can do the job efficiently they will hire you.

3.Australia- This came from Johny a Filipino that lives in Australia.
 "The Good
-Living conditions are top notch
-Social services such as Fire,Ambulance,Hospital,Police,Garbage Collection and etc are very very efficient and more importantly not corrupt
-Work is plentiful and wages are good no matter what you do you make enough to have a comfortable life.
-The people on the level are very nice and respectfull to one another thus a very low crime rate compared to other countries
-We are a very multicultural society especially in the bigger cities and though racism is there only a small minority of people belong to it. Common to see interracial couples and the like. Basically everyone no matter race or creed is welcomed here."
Although there is a downside government projects such as schools and roads take a little longer and taxes strictly implemented.
Australia is a multi-cultural country , other Asians also live there too. So Australians do understand other culture specially Asian. It's a nice place economy is solid and a opportunity for everyone

2.Canada- It's a big country and you can live in the busy city of Toronto or live in St John's Newfoundland a small city that is more relaxed than Toronto, if you know French that's great because Canadians in Quebec use French. It's a beautiful place to live in, it's like USA without the super high crimes and mind boggling stress of day to day life. Life in Canada is much more relaxed, I know I lived there for 3 years, it's a beautiful county and just like Filipinos the people are friendly.

1.United States of America- I think there is no need for me to elaborate why USA is a friendly country to Filipinos. Most Filipinos see USA as the end of a rainbow, a land of milk and honey, land of opportunity etc... well that might be so 1970's but right now USA is having a hard time financially, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan was draining and with the current problem with finances that made the world stumble economically, USA is not the best place to visit right now without a job waiting for you.
