5.Sword of the Stranger- It's a movie, but its something to watch.
The setting is in Sengoku period. A rounin called Nanashi (meaning 'nameless') saves a boy Kotarou at an abandoned temple. Kotarou is an orphan, and is being chased by a group of mercenaries from China, Kotarou hires Nanashi as his body guard. Amongst the mercenaries was blond, hair blue eyed, skilled warrior named Rarou, . He only follows orders from an old man named Byakuran . Unlike his militia friends, he follows no Emperor and only fights to find strong opponents.

4.Kurozuka - . Its a 12th century samurai drama but then moves to the present day, with the main character Kurou having been made immortal by the demon woman Kuromitsu. I won't go into that much detail, but its violent horror type of anime.
